ENSEMBL training course 23-24 October 2008
Ensembl is a joint project between the European Bioinformatics Institute and the Sanger Institute to develop a software system that produces and maintains automatic annotation on selected eukaryotic genomes.
The South African National Bioinformatics Institute will be hosting a 1.5 day Ensembl training course at the University of the Western Cape from the 23-24 October 2008. The course will be taught by one of the international Ensembl trainers from the European Bioinformatics Institute.
The workshop is directed at biologists who want to know how best to engage with the genomic data that is presented on the ENSEMBL website including multi-species comparison data.
